Learn how to make your very own pair of textured hoop earrings out of sterling silver, brass or gold in just 4 hours.

All classes under Studio 925 were designed and written for instruction by Janina Arias.

PROJECT DETAILS

Hoop Earrings (with two styles to choose from)


MATERIAL

Option 1 - Sterling silver

Option 2 - Brass

Option 3 - Mixed Sterling silver and brass

Option 4 - 14k or 18k yellow, rose, or white gold

25 grams of sterling silver or brass will be provided for each student

3-5 grams is the estimated weight per pair of gold hoops

  1. Introduction to tools and equipment (instruction manuals will be provided)
  2. Annealing
  3. Measurements
  4. Soldering
  5. Pickling
  6. Filing
  7. Sanding
  8. Texturing
  9. Forming
  10. Matte polishing or Oxidizing

**DURATION**

4 hours with flexibility to extend to 5 hours
