In this beginner-level class, you will be introduced to the essential techniques and processes involved in pattern making and sand casting. Pattern making is a crucial step that determines the shape and details of the final cast object, while sand casting is a versatile method for producing metal objects of various shapes and sizes.
Throughout the class, you will gain hands-on experience in creating patterns, assembling mold boxes, preparing sand molds, pouring molten metal, and removing molds to reveal your cast objects. Our experienced instructor will guide you through each step, providing valuable insights and tips to ensure successful castings.
No prior experience is required to join this class. Whether you are an aspiring artist, jewelry maker, or simply curious about the art of metal casting, this class will provide you with a solid foundation to pursue your casting projects.
